Textile jackets or Leather jackets?
I’m trying to find out what kind of jacket i want to buy for my motorcycle and i keep going back and forth between leather or textile i know textile is a lighter material then leather but is textile just as good as leather???
Whats your guys opinion?
Someone asked about the type of riding you do, and I think that’s really what it comes down to. If you’re on a cruiser, then I’d definitely go with leather. If it’s a sportbike, then either would do, but textile would be cooler. I honestly think that leather offers more protection, but thank God I’ve never had to experience it first-hand.
Ultimate choice: Leather… but a good leather jacket will be pricey.
If on a budget: Textile. Whatever you do, get a good one. A better more expensive textile jacket would be better than a cheaply made, inexpensive leather one.
