I am a heavy set individual and I am looking for a bike that suits me … any ideas?
I weigh 240 pounds, or about what is and I'm looking for a bike preferably a boat or helicopter – I was initially looking at the 250cc range – but was told it would probably be too small for me. I want to be mostly used for the city of light, and if I use for transportation around campus. The cheaper, the better the gas mileage, the better. All ideas, such time? – I was looking at the yamaha Vstar Suzuki Boulevard Cruiser 650 and I've always liked the look of cruisers and the like – and I've never really looked at sports bike – but if there I could use one – and I'm always willing to give it a try Well, the Yamaha V Star better looks better, can not decide between all the models – I like the look of the classics – but you're right — the silverado has some nice things (especially bags)
Man you hit the nail right on the head ,…. The Yamaha V-Star 650 is perfect. I run about 250 mi. The Silverado Classic or any of the two is ideal for your situation. The Silverado also comes with saddle bags for carrying things … the windshield is nice too. I could not get the Kawasaki or Suzuki to handle well for me … (I like). That can not be the case for you … each has different styles. I am currently on a Heritage Softail as an upgrade to a sports 1200. Before I was in a V-Star and was very comfortable and handles very well.
